St. Jude’s School organised Hindi Elocution Competition 2024

On the 9th of October , St. Jude’s School held a vibrant Hindi Elocution Competition for the students from Pre-Nursery to Class 2. The Event provided a wonderful platform for young learners to develop their public speaking skills and embrace the beauty of Hindi, our National language.
The topics for the competition were carefully selected to suit each age group, allowing the children to confidently showcase their recitation skills. From charming poems to meaningful short stories, the students delivered their pieces with enthusiasm and clarity, demonstrating their growing proficiency in the language.
The youngest participants from Pre-Nursery won hearts with their delightful recitations, while the older students from Classes 1 and 2 impressed the audience with their expressive delivery and strong stage presence. The event highlighted the importance of early exposure to public speaking, enabling children to build self-confidence, improve pronunciation, and learn how to effectively express their thoughts.
The students were praised by the Judges for their hard work and dedication. They commended the attempts made to improve pronunciation and bring emotions to life through recitations..
The Hindi Elocution Competition at St. Jude’s School was not just an event, but a celebration of language and expression. It inspired the children to appreciate the richness of Hindi and demonstrated the powerful role that language plays in shaping confident individuals.

In the Group Category, the Winners were :
Pre-Nursery Group Violet recited Hara Tota and came First. Nursery- D recited Haathi Daada and stood First.
Nursery-A bagged Second Position. KG-E recited ‘ Agar
Pankh Ugg Jaate’ and came First., KG-D came Second.
1–C recited ‘Titli Rani’ and stood First and 1-E came Second.
2-A recited Upwan ke Phool and came First and 2-E came Second.
In the Individual Category, the Winners were as follows:
Anayra Rawat of Jasmine recited Angoor and stood First. Varenyam from Nur-A recited Laal Seb and came First and Varshita from Nur-B stood Second.
Ansh Dhiman of KG-C recited Mummy Sheesha Bada Nakalchi and came First and Vedanshi Srivastava of KG-D bagged Second Prize.
Mohd Ashad of 1-C recited Ped and came First and Shivanya of 1-D stood Second.
Vaishnavi Giri of 2D recited ‘ Har Subah’ and came First , Ditya Siwach of 2-E stood Second.
