"Tiny tots, tiny treasures, boundless fun: Our Bagless Day Adventure"
Incorporating Bagless days into the curriculum, as envisioned by the NEP, aims to create a more holistic and student-centric education system that prepares children for the 21st century.
At St. Jude's School, we celebrated a delightful Bagless Day on 6th August 2024 for our Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes, an event designed to bring joy and creativity to our young learners. This special day encouraged students to leave their bags at home and engage in exciting activities that sparked their imaginations.
The program was highlighted by a captivating puppet show that transported the children into a magical world of stories and characters. The puppeteers enthralled our Nursery students with vibrant tales that instilled values of friendship, teamwork, and kindness. Giggles and laughter echoed throughout the hall as the children were drawn into the performances, making it an unforgettable experience.
Following the puppet show, the children had the opportunity to unleash their creativity through puppet-making activities. With guidance from our dedicated teachers, the little ones crafted their own puppets using colorful materials. This hands-on experience not only nurtured their artistic skills but also boosted their confidence as they created unique characters to take home.
In addition to the puppet-themed activities, the day was further enhanced by screening a short film related to children's adventures and lessons. The film was carefully selected to be both entertaining and educational, capturing the attention of our young audience and encouraging discussions about important life lessons.
Overall, Bagless Day at St. Jude's School was a resounding success, filled with laughter, creativity, and learning. We aim to create a nurturing environment where children feel inspired to explore and grow, and this event perfectly aligned with that mission.
