A NEW BEGINNING: Farewell Grade 12 As dusk descended on January 18, 2025, marking the close of another academic year, the atmosphere was charged with a complex tapestry of emotions. The Batch of 2024-2025 of St. Jude's School stood at the threshold of a new beginning, their hearts heavy with nostalgia yet light with anticipation. The farewell ceremony, conducted within the historic confines of our esteemed institution, marked a significant transition in these young lives. The event beautifully showcased a welcoming atmosphere complementing the sunrise-inspired golden ceiling with its integrated soft lighting. Adorned in elegant sarees and sharp suits, the graduating class gathered one last time to celebrate their journey - years spent mastering academic challenges, cultivating lasting friendships, and growing together. The auditorium resonated with a symphony of joyful laughter intermingled with gentle sobs, as students and faculty united to commemorate the accomplishments of this exceptional batch. The Ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including The President of the School, Mr. Gardner, and the Director of the School, Mrs. V. R. Gardner, and distinguished guests including Mrs. Manisha Howard, Ms. Amanda Mann, Mrs. Meena Sharma, Ms. Serena Mann, and Mr. Peter Howard, whose presence added gravitas to the occasion. The Celebrations commenced with captivating performances by Class XI students, leading up to the much-anticipated crowning of the ISC royalty. In a moment of great excitement, Kshitiz Walia was crowned ISC Prince, with Priyansh Prakash and Arpit Negi securing First and Second Runners-up positions respectively. Alvina Khan was bestowed with the title of ISC Princess, accompanied by Somya Chetri as first Runners-up and Suniksha Uniyal as second Runners-up. The Ceremony also included the presentation of special recognition awards to students who had left an indelible mark on the school. Ananya Bisht and Abhinav Semwal were honored as the Pride of St. Jude's for girls and boys respectively. In the performing arts category, Niswarth Arora was crowned Mr. Melodious while Ayushi Uniyal received the title of Ms. Melodious. The sports domain saw Tejaswi Aryan winning Sportstar of the Year and Manvendra Rajpurohit being named Athlete of the Year. Aviral Chhetri was recognized as Mr. Responsible, while Udita Dhauta claimed the title of Ms. Athletic. Other notable achievements included Shivangi Dhanraj as Ms. Diligent, Ananya Uniyal as Ms. Reliable, and Aqsa Ansari as Ms. Sincere. Akshit Chandra's artistic talents earned him Artist of the Year, the title of Dancing Queen went to Aanchal Rawat, while Ashmit Verma was awarded Mr. All-Rounder. The ceremonial cake was cut by School Captains Ananya Bisht and Anshuman Sharma, marking another cherished tradition of the day. The festivities then moved to a sumptuous luncheon, after which the graduating class returned with renewed energy. The atmosphere transformed into more of a celebration as Class XII students captured the spotlight, dancing with unbridled joy. Our Principal, Ms. Michelle Gardner, proved to be an exceptional host, curating an energetic playlist that kept the dance floor alive with enthusiasm. The Celebration reached its finale with a memorable photography session, capturing precious moments for posterity. In her closing address, our Principal delivered a heartfelt message to the graduating class, encouraging them to maintain their bonds with their alma mater, pursue their dreams fearlessly, and illuminate the world with their unique brilliance. As these young graduates prepare to venture into diverse paths, making way for the upcoming Grade 12, St. Jude's School stands as their eternal beacon, a sanctuary they can forever claim as their own.
