Posted on: 11 April 2025
Spring is a magical season that ushers in hope, renewal, and transformation. It symbolizes fresh beginnings with its vivid colours and blossoming beauty. Like every year, the learners of Pre-Nursery and Nursery welcomed the arrival of Spring with open arms, filling the air with excitement, energy, and creativity.
The children enthusiastically immersed themselves in a variety of rejuvenating activities, delighting in the abundance of nature’s wonders that the season brings. They unleashed their artistic talents through Spring-themed crafts that brightened up the Classrooms. From crafting beautiful collages using fresh flower petals to engaging in finger painting to create ladybugs, the activities were a perfect blend of fun and learning. Using forks to design tulip artwork added a unique and tactile experience. These hands-on activities not only sparked their creativity but also helped refine their fine motor skills.
Adding a joyful Easter twist to the celebration, the little ones enjoyed fingerprinting on bunny and egg cut-outs, bringing festive cheer into the mix. A Storytelling session featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar captivated their young minds, introducing them to the fascinating life cycle of a butterfly—an ideal symbol of Spring’s transformation and growth.
The fun continued as the children crafted lovely flower crowns and received floral headgear as delightful takeaways. These charming accessories embodied the freshness and vibrancy of the season, making the day even more memorable.
The pleasant Spring weather set the perfect stage for outdoor fun. The garden came alive with laughter and energy as the children participated in engaging games like the Egg Hunt and Bunny Hop. These playful activities encouraged teamwork, movement, and joyful interaction.
During a warm and welcoming Circle Time, the children confidently shared what they love most about Spring. Their thoughtful reflections deepened their connection to nature and the season itself.
These engaging and meaningful experiences were part of the Garden of Joy Fest, themed Bloom, Play, and Learn in the Garden of Joy. The celebration added layers of wonder, curiosity, and happiness to their journey of exploring the natural world. Through this immersive celebration, creativity was kindled, joyful memories were created, and a lasting appreciation for nature was nurtured in every young heart.
