We reach the Quarter Finals of the Inter-School Sub-Junior Boys Carbery Football Tournament 2024-25

The Inter-School Sub-Junior Boys Carbery Football Tournament for the 2024-25 season, hosted by Carman School, Dalanwala, from 31st July to August 6th was a thrilling event filled with intense competition and youthful enthusiasm. Among the many participating teams, St. Jude's School made a notable appearance, showcasing their talent and determination on the field.
In their opening match, St. Jude's School faced off against Doon Presidency School, Premnagar. The match, however, did not take place as planned, with St. Jude's being granted a walkover victory, thus securing their place in the next round.
The Second match saw St. Jude's School going head-to-head with Grace Academy. This match proved to be a test of skill and strategy, but it was Prasun Sharma from St. Jude's who emerged as the hero of the game. With remarkable precision and athleticism, Prasun scored both goals, leading his team to a 2-0 victory and propelling St. Jude's into the quarter-finals.
As the excitement built, St. Jude's School prepared to face St. Kabir School in the Quarter-Final match. Despite their previous successes, this match proved to be a challenging one. St. Kabir School displayed strong defense and tactical play, ultimately defeating St. Jude's with a score of 2-0. This loss marked the end of St. Jude's journey in the tournament.
Though their run in the tournament came to an end in the Quarter-Finals, the young players of St. Jude's School demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and skill throughout their matches. Their participation in the Carbery Football Tournament 2024-25 was a testament to their hard work and passion for the sport, leaving them with valuable experience for future Competitions.
