‘’The art of elocution is the art of speaking with precision, diction and passion."
Elocution competition is designed to develop students' confidence and the ability to articulate and modulate a poem clearly. It offers a platform for students to showcase their oratory skills. By incorporating elocution into the School Curriculum, we can help students to develop love for poetry. To foster healthy competition, motivation and coordination among the students, the Inter-Class Elocution Competition was held on 2nd August 2024 for Classes III - ??
The event aimed at instilling confidence, creative expression and effective articulation in our young learners. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from our students.
Selecting the perfect poem for the elocution competition can be a daunting task. All the poems that were chosen conveyed a meaningful message. Some poems were humourous while some were narrative. Students showcased their creativity through the use of props that matched the theme of their poem. The use of props not only made the performance more engaging but also helped the Students to express themselves more effectively.
Judges praised the students for their poise, clarity and modulation. The Competition was a resounding success leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. We look forward to seeing our young learners grow into articulate and expressive individuals.
