At St. Jude’s School, the first week of the new Academic Session for Classes KG to 2 sparked the creative spirit of the Students with a delightful Floral Name Plate Making Activity held on Friday, 11th April 2025. This engaging session served as a perfect way for young learners to bond with their Classmates and personalize their Classroom space through vibrant and imaginative name plate designs.
Excitement and enthusiasm filled the Classrooms as Students used colorful papers, flowers, leaves , twigs and craft materials to design their own name plates. Teachers guided them patiently, encouraging creativity while helping them feel more connected to their new environment.
The activity not only brought joy but also played an important role in building Classroom identity and fostering a sense of belonging. As the finished name plates were proudly displayed on desks and Classroom boards, the rooms transformed into cheerful, welcoming spaces that reflected the personalities of the Students.
Beyond the name plates, children also participated in a group activity where they created floral arrangements using a mix of colorful flowers and fruits. For the Flower Arrangement with a Fruity Twist, the children used different types of fruits such as strawberries, kiwi, bananas, mangoes, and citrus fruits. This collaborative Art Session taught them the value of teamwork, cooperation and communication while also refining their fine motor skills and artistic abilities.
With happy faces and blooming creations, the day concluded on a bright note, perfectly setting the tone for a year full of creativity, learning, and joyful memories at St. Jude’s School.
