A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to take tough decisions and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. He doesn’t set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the quality of his actions and the integrity of his intent.
The Investiture Ceremony is an annual event conducted in the new academic session wherein young torch bearers are formally entrusted with duties, and responsibilities to motivate them to lead the students of the school.
The Investiture ceremony for the academic year 2018-19 was held in School’s Jonty Auditorium with great earnestness.
Present on the occasion were the Principal, Mrs. V.R. Gardner, Vice Principal, Ms. M. Gardner, Coordinators, House Masters, House Mistresses and Teachers. The presence of the parents of our newly appointed Prefects made this defining moment memorable for all.
The chosen few, the heir to the legacy of St. Jude’s School received their badges and colours at this momentous dignified investiture ceremony.

Our Vice Principal Ms. Michelle Gardner administered the oath of office. The Student Council took the pledge to live upto the expectations and work in sync with the mission of the School to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities.
As the beat of the drum echoed in the auditorium, the office bearers marched smartly up the stage and took their positions. Amidst thundering applause it was indeed a proud moment for the parents of these young leaders to go up on the stage to pin the badges on the newly inducted council members.
The office bearers were congratulated by our Principal, Mrs. V.R. Gardner in her motivational address to the students, she explained the true meaning of leadership and the qualities of a leader. She not only enthused our young leaders to uphold the values of school and keep St. Jude’s flag flying high, but also wished them good luck.
