MELODIES OF UNITY: A VIBRANT INTER-CLASS SINGING COMPETITION 2025

St. Jude’s recently hosted the Inter-Class Singing Competition on 31st January 2025, where Students from Grades K.G to II came together to showcase their vocal abilities, fostering a sense of community and celebrating the diverse musical talents of Students. This Competition not only provided a platform for individual expression but also encouraged teamwork and healthy Competition, resulting in a lively and memorable experience for all.
The Competition was theme-based and showcased a wide array of musical styles, with each class presenting its unique interpretation. The theme for Class K.G was “Rhymes Medley”, whereas for Classes I and II .It was “Cartoon Songs” and “Around the World”, respectively.
A panel of Judges evaluated each class’s performance based on various criteria, including presentation, clarity, expression, adherence to theme, and overall performance. The event was not only a great way for students to build confidence and appreciate the diverse talents of their peers. Through such events, students create lasting memories and form connections with others who share their love for music.
The Results of the Inter-Class Singing Competition were as follows:
Class KG D sang a medley of ‘’I’m So Happy and Bingo’’ and secured the First position. Class KG A sang a medley of ‘’Fruit Song and Rainbow Song’’ and came Second. Class KG E performed ‘’Baby Shark and If You’re Happy’’ and also secured the Second Position.
Class I-B sang ‘’The Lion Sleeps Tonight’’ and stood First. Class I-C performed ‘’Duck Tales’’ and also came First. Class I-A sang ‘’Spiderman, Spiderman’’ and secured the Second Position. Class II- C sang “It’s a Small World’’ and stood First. Class II -D sang ‘’So Many Colours, So Many Shapes’’ and came Second.
