PRIMARY SCHOOL REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
On the 24th of January 2025, the Primary and Junior students of St. Jude’s School celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The School corridors were beautifully decorated with vibrant Republic Day-themed crafts, creating an atmosphere of patriotism throughout the campus. The Celebration began with a spirited and energetic action song performed by the Kindergarten students to the tune of Vande Mataram. This was followed by a speech delivered by Aliya Khan of Class 5B. Students from KG to Class 2 performed a graceful dance to the tune of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara, showcasing the unity in India’s diverse linguistic and cultural communities. Adding to the patriotic spirit, a Hindi poem recitation by Amyra Tripathi of Class 2A further enriched the program. The stage then came alive with students from Classes 3 to 5, who delivered an electrifying performance to the song Aaj Dil Pe Hath Rakh, mesmerizing the audience with their rhythmic movements. A speech by Rudransh of Class 5D emphasized the importance of unity in upholding the values of our great nation. The event concluded with a harmonious choir performance by the Junior School students, symbolizing the spirit of togetherness. Our Principal, Ms. M. Gardner, praised the students for their enthusiasm and hard work. She urged everyone to embrace the spirit of Republic Day and take a pledge to be responsible citizens, working together to build a brighter future for India. The Celebration ended with the recitation of the Hindi pledge, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and inspiring young minds to cherish and uphold the freedom we enjoy today.
