SSt. Jude’s School Dehradun Visits Virasat Workshop at ONGC Ambedkar Stadium: A Creative Journey of Craftsmanship

Students from St. Jude’s School, Dehradun, recently had an enriching experience at the Virasat Workshop, where they actively participated in various traditional art forms. They engaged in hands-on sessions in doll making, terracotta, beadwork and bottle art learning from skilled artisans.
In the doll making activity, students crafted dolls using vibrant fabrics and traditional techniques, while the terracotta session introduced them to clay molding, teaching them the precision required to shape intricate designs. The beadwork workshop involved creating beautiful jewelry and ornaments, enhancing their creativity and patience. Lastly, in bottle art, they explored recycling by turning old bottles into artistic pieces, promoting sustainability.
This visit offered the Students a unique opportunity to connect with India’s rich cultural heritage, combining tradition with modern creativity.
