The curtains rose and the spotlight shone on the budding actors of St. Judes School The event held on the 6th of November was a celebration of talent teamwork and creativity that left the audience in awe. The Competition which is a cherished tradition brought together students from senior grades all vying for the opportunity to shine on stage. This annual event not only showcased the impressive acting talents of the students but also highlighted their dedication to theatre and creative expression. The opening performance was by Gardner House who took the audience on a thrilling journey with their interpretation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyles The Five Orange Pips. The second performance was by Howard House who chose to tread the path of creativity and originality with their self-composed production titled The Timeless Choice by Anuj Kapoor of Class 12 Com B. The performance was a testament to the students ingenuity as they crafted a unique story that explored themes of choice destiny and the passage of time. Khanna House transported the audience to a magical island with their adaptation of William Shakespeares Classic The Tempest. The performance was a mesmerising blend of drama comedy and supernatural elements. Lastly Lyons House presented a heart warming tale of love and family with their production of The Wedding Story. The play captured the essence of joy laughter and sentimental moments that surround weddings. After witnessing all the exceptional performances the winners of the Inter-House One Act Play Competition were announced. Khanna House emerged victorious with their spellbinding production titled The Tempest Their stellar performances creative direction and strong storyline earned them the top spot. The Best Actor was awarded to Anuj Kapoor (Male Category) and Ananya Bisht (Female Category). The Inter-House One Act Play at St. Judes School has a rich history of nurturing talent and fostering a lifelong love for the arts. It encourages students to explore the world of literature express themselves and collaborate effectively. It remains a highlight of the School calendar reinforcing the schools commitment to the performing arts and the holistic development of its students.
