"A Day of Unity and Pride"
India's Republic Day Celebrated annually on January 26th, commemorates the adoption of its Constitution in 1950. This momentous occasion marked the birth of a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic, signifying the culmination of the nation's long struggle for independence.
The Indian Constitution, drafted by a Constituent Assembly with Dr. B.R Ambedkar as the Chairman of the drafting committee, enshrined fundamental rights and laid the foundation for a democratic system.
Today, 24th January, as Friday Activity, teachers and students engaged in various activities to commemorate this day. Students in different classes made Tricolor decorations using cutouts, saffron, white and green colored paper. Teachers explained the importance of Republic Day to students in different ways.
These class activities are designed to engage students, enhance their understanding of Republic Day and celebrate India's heritage in a meaningful way.
These activities also aim to foster a deeper understanding of the values its upholds.
