Grace, gaiety and grandeur adorned St. Jude’s School on the third day of Mindspree 2018. The day brought with it the elements of music, dance, beauty and colours.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Satish Sharma, Editor and Owner of Garhwal Post. The occasion was graced by Mr. R.V. Gardner, Principal, St. Thomas’ College, Mrs. V.R. Gardner, Principal St. Jude’s School, Mr. W. Gardner, Ex Principal, Laidlaw Memorial School, Ketti, Ms. Michelle Gardner, Vice Principal St. Jude’s School and other esteemed guests

The contest was adjudged by Mr. Alexander, Mr. Ashish Gaur and Ms. Aditi Dhand.
Solo performances like ‘Complicated…’ by Avril Lavigne, ‘Love Story…’ by Taylor Swift, ‘It must have been love…’ by Roxette, ‘Tears in Heaven…’ by Eric Clipton, ‘Haven’t Met you yet…’ by Michael Buble, ‘Firework…’ by Katty Perry and ‘Rolling in the Deep by Adele… showcased the incredible musical talent of the students, as well as gave students the opportunity to experience a vast array of musical talent.
Passang Dolma from Hilton’s School and Jabez Gurung from St. Jude’s School soothed the audience with their melodious voice, stood first, closely followed by Daniel Imbert of St. Thomas’ College who came second.
In the Duet Singing Category Hindi Bollywood music reverberated with hit numbers like ‘Pal Pal Har Pal’, ‘Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe…’, ‘Dooriyan Bhi Hain Zaroori’, ‘Pehla Nasha Pehla Khumar…’, ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigar Jaya…’, ‘Ye Ishq Haaye…’ and ‘Morni Baga Ma…’
Kriti Naithani and Divyanshi Thapliyal from Summer Valley School were adjugded the winners, Utkarsh Karir and Shraddha Rawat of St. Thomas’ College came second.
The Choir in the Group Singing Category with some soulful songs left the audience humming.
