“Segregating plastic waste isn't just a duty, it's a responsibility towards our planet’s future.”
St Jude’s has joined hands with Mr Anoop Nautiyal, the Founder and CEO of Social Development for Communities to create a Plastic Bank at St Jude's School. This plastic waste will be converted to gassline and diesel.
Collection of plastic waste is an excellent way to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among Students.
Students need to understand the importance of recycling and the impact of plastic waste on the environment.
Collecting plastic waste in School encourages Students to adopt sustainable habits at a young age, influencing their behaviour beyond the School environment. It fosters a sense of community involvement by encouraging Students, Teachers and Staff to work together towards a common goal of reducing plastic pollution.
On the 10th of May, there was a Plastic Collection Drive in the School children brought all forms of Plastic, which was collected to be handed over to Mr. Anoop Nautiyal.
We hope to collect Plastic on a regular basis to contribute to environmental conservation and help shape responsible environmentally conscious citizens for the future.
