6th O.P. Garg Soccer Tournament Under-18 - 2024-25

The 6th O.P. Garg Soccer Tournament Under-18 from 7th August- 14th August, 2024 hosted by Shri Ram Centennial School, was a highly anticipated event that brought together some of the most talented young footballers. St. Jude's School participated in the tournament with great enthusiasm, aiming to make their mark in the competition.
The Tournament kicked off with St. Jude's School facing Mount Litera Zee School in their first match. Despite both teams' best efforts, the match ended in a goalless draw. The defenses of both sides remained impenetrable, setting the stage for a tough tournament ahead.
In the second match, St. Jude's School went up against New Hill School. This match proved to be more favorable for St. Jude's, as they managed to secure a 1-0 victory. The winning goal was scored by Sarthak Mingwal, whose decisive strike gave his team the much-needed edge to claim victory and keep their hopes alive for progressing further in the tournament.
The third and final match of the group stage saw St. Jude's School taking on the host team, Shri Ram Centennial School. Both teams were evenly matched, and despite several attempts on goal from both sides, the match ended in another goalless draw. This result, unfortunately, meant that St. Jude's School did not accumulate enough points to qualify for the semi-finals.
While the team was unable to advance to the later stages of the tournament, the players of St. Jude's School displayed resilience and skill throughout their matches. Their journey in the 6th O.P. Garg Soccer Tournament Under-18 will undoubtedly serve as a valuable experience, helping them to grow and improve in future Competitions.
