St. Jude’s School celebrated Diwali with great joy and excitement among the young students of Classes Pre-Nur to 2. The school corridors and classrooms were filled with bright colors and festive energy as students participated in various activities.
The day began with students creating beautiful rangoli designs in their classrooms. With guidance from their teachers, they used colourful powders and flower petals to form traditional patterns symbolizing the spirit of Diwali, the festival of lights. Each rangoli was unique, reflecting the creativity and enthusiasm of the children.
In addition to the rangoli, students worked together to decorate their classrooms with diyas, lanterns, and paper crafts. The decorations added a warm glow to each classroom, and the children took pride in transforming their spaces for the festival.
To deepen their understanding of Diwali, teachers narrated stories about the festival’s significance, sharing insights into the themes of light overcoming darkness and good triumphing over evil.
The Diwali celebration at St. Jude’s School not only brought festive cheer but also offered Students valuable lessons in teamwork, creativity, and the cultural significance of one of India’s most cherished festivals.
