St. Jude’s School wins the Late Shri B.P. Saxena Memorial Inter School Senior Boys Futsal Tournament

The Futsal team of St. Jude’s School understood and really applied the above quote in the recent Futsal Tournament held at Touch Wood School, Dehradun where our boys defeated other schools and won the overall trophy.
A team of 10 players led by their Captain Jai Chaudhary played their first match against The Heritage School, the score 5-0, followed by the second match against Himalayan Public School, the score was 6-1.
We then played the Semi-finals, St. Jude’s School team played against Carman School, Dalanwala and St. Jude’s defeated Carman School with a score of 11-0. Finally, our boys made it to the finals against Shri Ram Centennial School and we won, the score was 6-0. We won the tournament with awesome teamwork and skills.
The best players were Jai Chaudhary who made 3 goals, Krish Joshi made 2 goals and Nitin Lekhwar made 1 goal in the Finals.
14 Schools participated at the event but St. Jude’s Futsal team emerged as the best and brought the trophy to St. Jude’s School.
