A mother’s love is the first gift we ever receive—a source of unwavering support, gentle care, and endless inspiration. Her heart is a haven of comfort, where we find warmth in moments of uncertainty and encouragement through every challenge. To honour this profound and nurturing bond, the Pre-Nursery and Nursery students came together on Thursday, May 9, 2025, to celebrate the beautiful relationship they share with their mothers.
The day was filled with excitement and heartfelt expressions as the young learners engaged in a series of thoughtfully planned activities. One of the highlights was a delightful Flower Craft Activity, where each child lovingly placed a photograph of their mother at the centre of a vibrant paper flower. This simple yet meaningful gesture symbolized the pivotal role mothers play in their children’s lives—at the very heart of everything.
Adding a splash of creativity to the celebration, the children enthusiastically participated in colouring specially designed worksheets centred around the theme of Motherhood. These vibrant artworks, brought to life with innocent strokes of crayon and vivid imagination, reflected the children's joy and affection in the most charming way.
The atmosphere brimmed with emotion as the little ones took turns reciting rhymes dedicated to their mothers. With their cheerful voices and heartfelt words, the children expressed their admiration, love, and gratitude—leaving the audience deeply touched. Their enthusiasm and sincerity were a reminder of how deeply even the youngest hearts feel love for their mothers.
The celebration continued with an engaging Role-Play session, during which each child shared what they loved most about their mother. Whether it was her comforting hugs, delicious meals, bedtime stories, or the way she always made them smile, the candid expressions brought warmth to every listener’s heart. These innocent tributes captured the essence of maternal love in the most genuine and endearing manner.
This special day served not only as a celebration of mothers but also as an opportunity for the children to reflect on the values of gratitude and appreciation. Through each activity, the young learners expressed love in their own unique ways, creating lasting memories for themselves and their families.
