CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT ST. JUDE’S SCHOOL: A SEASON OF JOY AND TOGETHERNESS
The festive season of Christmas brought immense excitement and joy to St. Jude’s School, especially for our youngest learners from Pre-Nursery to Class 2. This year, the celebrations were filled with creativity, meaningful traditions, and festive cheer, making the season truly memorable.
The highlight of the festivities was the beautifully staged Nativity play, performed by the young students. Dressed as angels, shepherds, wise men, and the Holy Family, the children brought the story of the birth of Jesus to life. Their heartfelt performance captured the true meaning of Christmas. To show their gratitude, students and teachers also took the opportunity to give gifts to the support staff for their tireless efforts.
Adding to the festive spirit, the classrooms were decorated with twinkling fairy lights, and a splendidly adorned Christmas tree set the scene. The students’ creative touch was evident in the delightful decorations, including Christmas bells and stars, which added charm to the celebrations.
The craft sessions further fueled the children’s creativity. They enthusiastically designed vibrant Christmas cards and crafted unique festive decorations, such as Christmas stockings and wreaths, which they proudly took home as keepsakes of the joyous occasion.
A cherished part of the celebration was the Kris Kindle gift exchange. Students brought thoughtful presents for their friends, spreading happiness and teaching the values of kindness and sharing. This heartwarming activity left the children with smiles and imbued them with the spirit of giving.
The Christmas celebrations at St. Jude’s School went beyond festivities, teaching the students the values of love, kindness, and togetherness. The magical atmosphere and the memories created during the celebrations ensured that the spirit of Christmas would remain in our young learners’ hearts forever.
