St. Jude’s School wins Council Junior Inter School Dance & Singing Competition 2022

With thrill and excitement in the air, the Council Inter School Dance & Singing Competition began and was organised by Carman School, Dalanwala on the 1st of October, 2022. There were 24 renowned schools from Dehradun participated in the competition. Some of them were St. Thomas’ College, Shigally Hills, Sun Valley, Ann Marry School, St. Partrick’s Academy, Doon Blossoms, Shivalik International School.
The competition was divided into four categories:
1) Hindi Song
2) English Action Song
3) Western Dance
4) Folk Dance
The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs. Geeta Khanna and Judges were Mrs. Manorma Rawat and Ms. Aarti Shah.
St. Jude’s School participated in the Western Dance category and won the winners trophy. Our children danced beautifully and were whole heartedly praised by the audience for their performance.
The dance was choregraphed by Mrs. S. Kukreja along with Mr. W. Lakra. Costumes were designed by Mrs. S. Kukreja and Mr. W. Lakra. Our children Make up was done by Mrs. M. Bhardwaj, Mrs. R. Saklani, Mrs. I. Manuel, Mrs. A.Kumar and Mrs. S. Kukreja.
