Our Students Excel at Wynberg-Allen School Hosts 'Capta Caelum – Reach for the Sky' Inter School Cultural Festival

Wynberg-Allen School, nestled in the picturesque hills of Mussoorie, recently played host to the much-anticipated Inter School Cultural Festival, Capta Caelum – Reach for the Sky. Drawing participants from approximately twenty Schools across the country, the event proved to be a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity.
The day-long festival showcased a plethora of events designed to test and showcase the artistic, musical, and theatrical prowess of the participating Students. From soul-stirring musical performances to captivating theatrical productions, the festival offered something for everyone.
Among the highlights of the festival were events such as Riveting Rhapsodies, a spirited band Competition, where talented musicians battled it out for top honors. Ensemble, which focused on headgear designing and dress-making, provided a platform for Students to unleash their creativity and fashion sense. Other events included Modelling, Photography, Videography, Drama Rama (Skit), and Jazz it Up, a lively Dance Competition that had the audience tapping their feet.
St. Jude's School Students showcased their exceptional talent and dedication, earning commendable accolades in various Competitions. In the 3-D Canvas Painting Category, with the theme ' Breathe in Indian Village,' Students Akshat Chandra and Tanushree Kumar artwork captured the essence of rural India, securing the Second Position. Additionally, St. Jude's School emerged as the First Runners-Up in the Ensemble category, impressing the judges with their innovative headgear and dresses.
Reflecting on the experience, participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their talents and interact with peers from different Schools. The festival not only provided a platform for Students to exhibit their skills but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and collaboration among participants.
The Principal, Ms. M.Gardner congratulated the participants and teachers who had trained the various Teams for their perseverance and hard work.
It is indeed a matter of pride to see our young Thaddeusians excel and shine amongst some of the best Schools in the country. We look forward to many more such opportunities and victories.
