ST. JUDE'S SCHOOL WINS THE SPECTRUM INTER SCHOOL QUIZ HELD AT ST. THOMAS' COLLEGE

General Knowledge Quizzes expands our understanding of the World. Quizzes encourage participants to think critically as they recall and apply knowledge. They reinforce memory retention, promotes curiosity and foster continuous education as well as boost self-esteem and confidence. They also prepare Students for Competitive Examinations.
Recently on the 8th of November, 2024, the St. Jude's Quizzing team comprising of Abhinav Semwal and Aviral Chhetri won the Spectrum Inter School Quiz Competition held at St. Thomas' College.
The Quiz Competition saw tough Competition between teams of Summer Valley School, St. Thomas' College, St.Jude's School, St.Joseph's Academy and Carman School, Dalanwala with all students performing to the best of their ability in order to win the Contest.
The Quiz consisted of 12 rounds with each round testing various topics like Numerical Ability, Entertainment, Sports, Current Affairs, Science, Technology, Computers, Information Technology and many more. The Quiz Contest however challenged the participants with a 'Dumb Charade' round and a unique round called 'live round', forcing them to adapt and rely on their powers of recognition and creativity. The live round will stand out in our memories as adorable children were dressed as famous personalities and fairytale characters, with the participants being challenged to identify and answer questions on Personalities.
In the nail-biting Contest of wits and knowledge, St.Jude's School emerged victorious with a staggering point tally of 181 points maintaining a respectful lead of 33 points over Summer Valley School, who emerged as the Runners-Up of the Competition. The St. Jude's School team displayed adaptability and resilience with its members Abhinav Semwal and Aviral Chhetri displaying a remarkable presence of mind and excellent coordination. A big thank you to our Teachers, Mr. Sundriyal, Mrs. S. Tuli and Mr. R. Singh for their ongoing guidance and support.
