St. Jude’s School at The Doon School Career Fair 2024: A Gateway to Global Opportunities

On the 3rd of September 2024, nineteen students from the XII Science and Commerce streams of our school had the privilege of attending the Doon School Career Fair 2024. This esteemed event featured representatives from 96 prestigious universities worldwide, offering our students an unparalleled chance to explore diverse academic opportunities.
The career fair was far more than just a meeting with admissions officers; it was a transformative experience that provided our students with a deep understanding of higher education pathways. Universities from across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia were present, showcasing a wide range of courses and programs across various fields of study.
Students engaged in one-on-one conversations with university representatives, inquiring about admission requirements, scholarships, campus life, and future career prospects. These direct interactions offered invaluable insights that extended beyond what is typically available online or in brochures. Additionally, the fair included informative sessions on crucial topics such as the college application process and financial planning, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the complexities of higher education.
This exposure to a broad spectrum of options enabled our students to refine their goals and aspirations, setting a clear path for their academic futures.
