The Inter School Futsal Tournament 2024-25 held at Carman School kicked off with a bang as St. Jude's School clashed with St. Xavier School in a thrilling opening match that ended in a 1-1 draw. The match was a showcase of skill and determination from both sides, with Sarthak Mingwal finding the net for St. Jude's, and ensuring they secured a crucial point in their Campaign.
In the second match of the Tournament, St. Jude's School faced off against Doon Blossom School in a dominant display of prowess. St. Jude's emerged victorious with an impressive 10-0 scoreline, with Sarthak Mingwal leading the charge with an incredible five goals to his name. Divyansh Kumar and Swastik Rana also contributed to the team's emphatic victory with three and two goals respectively.
Moving into the Semi-Finals, St. Jude's School continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Cambrian Hall. Sarthak Mingwal once again proved to be instrumental, finding the net alongside Darsh Fonia and Swastik Rana, securing their spot in the final.
The final showdown saw St. Jude's School pitted against Moravian School in a highly anticipated match. In a tense battle that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, St. Jude's emerged triumphant with a narrow 2-1 victory. Sarthak Mingwal and Darsh Fonia once again rose to the occasion, each scoring a crucial goal to secure the championship title for St. Jude's School.
