St. Jude’s Feast Day
St. Jude’s School marked St. Jude’s Feast Day on 28th October 2024 with a day devoted to kindness, faith, and hope. This special day brought together students from Classes Pre-Nursery to 2 in meaningful activities that honoured the spirit of St. Jude. The day began with teachers sharing stories about St. Jude’s life and significance. They explained how his unwavering faith and compassion for others have made him a symbol of hope and strength for many. Captivated by the stories, students learned about the values of kindness, resilience, and service to others. Each class participated in unique group activities reflecting St. Jude’s virtues. Pre-Nursery and Nursery students planted seeds, symbolizing growth and hope. Class KG created a “Good Deeds Jar” with paper slips on which students wrote small acts of kindness. In Class 1, students decorated candles as symbols of light and hope. Class 2 engaged in creating a “Hope Tree.” Each student wrote a hopeful message on a paper leaf and pasted it on the tree, transforming it into a vibrant symbol of the hope that St. Jude represents. The messages, filled with wishes for peace, friendship, and kindness, brought warmth to the classroom. These Feast Day activities taught students valuable lessons in kindness, hope, and faith, leaving them inspired by the spirit of St. Jude.
