Primary School’s Title- Touch and Say Activity

Albert Einstein rightly said that Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.
In a bustling world of children’s education and development, one often overlooks this aspect. The sense of touch is a sense that not only makes us aware of our surroundings but is also crucial to our living. In a child’s journey of discovery touch is a fundamental sense that opens doors to understanding and exploration.
The Activity ‘Touch and Feel ’ for Classes K.G. to II was conducted on the 3rd of May, 2024. The children enjoyed themselves thoroughly. They were encouraged to touch and explore as they embarked on a sensory adventure that shaped their understandings of the world around them.
The children of class K.G. performed an activity on ‘Touch, See And Tell’ where each child had to pick out any one object from the mystery box and describe the texture of the object. Class 1 performed an activity on Textured Craft that involved observing on how materials interacts with different surfaces. Class II executed an activity on Textured Collage where Collage material like craft sticks, foil and cotton balls were used and Charts.
All our Students actively participated in this activity and learnt a lot about how to identify different textures. Overall it was a fun-filled activity which every child enjoyed.
