Mindspree is an annual Creative and Academic Festival organized by St. Jude's School to foster a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie among students from various schools. It is a confluence of various contests ranging from innovative to cultural and cultural to creative. This year about eighteen schools from in and around Dehradun participated in the three-day-long Creative Festival which began on 8th August, 2024.
The first day of the occasion was graced by Mr. Gaurav Yadav, Founder & Moderator of Indian Principal Networks. Mr. Gaurav Yadav is a Quizmaster and International Award Winner. He is the Founder & CEO of EduAce Services and also a Founder & Moderator of Indian Principals’ Network(IPN).
An International Award Winner, entrepreneur. Mr. Gaurav Yadav, was selected by the Economic Times Group (ET NOW) under its series ‘LEADERS of Tomorrow’ for his demonstrated work in the field of School education. Mr. Gaurava, also founded and moderates India’s 1st Knowledge Network of School Leaders titled Indian Principals Network.
Mr. Gaurav won various national level business quizzes in India, viz Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz-2009 (Runner-Up), Winner- IIT-Kanpur, Winner- IIT-Roorkee, Winner-IMI-Delhi, Winner IIITM, GWALIOR, SIBM, Pune etc, when not working.

The Mindspree Inter-School General Knowledge, Logical Thinking and Reasoning Quiz which aimed at expanding the horizon of the participants beyond their textbooks, was a healthy competition that challenged the participants' knowledge of diverse subjects. The Quiz Master, Mr. K. Sundriyal with his passion for knowledge kept the audience rapt and made the contest enjoyable one for all. The Winners were Summer Valley School, the First Runners Up were St. Joseph’s Academy and Second Runners Up were The Tons Bridge School.
A Science Project Contest aroused the interest and curiosity of the participants as they embarked on preparing a Science model on alternative sources of energy. The contest was judged by Mr. G. Ahuja (Principal Shiwalik School), Dr. Arun Kumar (Doon University) and Mrs. Poonam Pasbola ( Summer Valley School).
The Wynberg Allen School were adjudged the Winners, there was a tie between St. Joseph’s Academy and St. Jude’s School for the First Runners Up position. Being the host School, St. Jude’s School gave the First Runners Up trophy to St. Joseph’s Academy.
An Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Project Making Contest was held to highlight talent in advance learning and collaboration. The Judges for the content were Mr.Sumit Wadhwa (STC), Ms.Neha Topal (Him Jyoti School) & Mr. Harshal Gunwant (Doon School).
There was a tie for the First Position between St. Patrick’s Academy and St. Jude’s School but being the host School, St. Jude’s School gave the First Runners Up trophy to St. Patrick’s Academy. The Second Runners Up were Carman School, Dalanwala.
A Business Quiz was organized to showcase the talent of aspiring entrepreneurs and executives. Mr. Prashant Sharma conducted the Quiz and kept the audience engaged throughout.
The Winners were St. Jude’s School, but being the host School they gave away the trophy to Ann Mary School, the First Runners-up were St. Patrick’s Academy and Second Runners Up were Carman School, Dalanwala.
A PowerPoint Contest was organized based on the Theme 'Dream it, Script it and Present it'. The students made a Power Point Presentation and were judged on their creativity, technical quality and originality. The Judges for the Contest were Mrs. Neha Topal, Dr. Vikas Sharma and Mr. Harshal Gunwant.
The Winners were St.Joseph’s Academy and the First Runners Up were St. Thomas’s College.
