St. Jude’s School – A Colourful Celebration of Creativity On the 1st of May 2025, St. Jude’s School celebrated creativity and learning as the Corridors and Classrooms were beautifully adorned with vibrant and informative charts for the First Term Chart Competition for Classes Pre-Nursery to 2. The Event served as a wonderful platform to showcase the artistic talents of both Teachers and Students,transforming the school environment into a vibrant and engaging space for learning. “Nature is not a place to visit, it is home.” – Gary Snyder Inspired by this thought, the theme for the Chart Competition for the Pre-Nursery and Nursery was “The Magic of Nature” — a whimsical and imaginative title that captured the beauty of flowers, clouds, rainbows, and the wonders of the natural world. From eye-catching House Charts to neatly designed Class Time Tables, cheerful Birthday Charts, and vibrant Subject Charts, every display reflected creativity, Teamwork, and thoughtful design. The Birthday Charts brought a personal and joyful touch to each Classroom, highlighting the Students’ special day. Subject Charts made learning more accessible and exciting, providing Students with a fun and visual way to stay connected to their Academic Topics. A major highlight of the Event was the Door Decoration. The beautifully decorated doors warmly welcomed Students into their Classrooms, setting an inspiring tone for learning. Adding to the charm was the Story Book Box initiative, where Teachers created beautifully Designed Book boxes filled with a variety of Storybooks, aimed at developing strong reading habits among Students. Friday Activity Craft and Easter crafts created by the Students were also showcased which added a delightful charm to the Classrooms. Each Class approached the competition with fresh and innovative ideas, filling their spaces with a burst of colour, imagination, and creativity. Students not only participated in decorating the Charts but also proudly exhibited their Classroom Projects and Activities , making the Event a true celebration of collective effort. The Chart Competition was organized with the aim of encouraging sSudents to blend artistic expression with academic knowledge. From scientific concepts and historical timelines to environmental awareness and motivational quotes, the walls of the Classrooms were transformed into a visual gallery of knowledge and inspiration. The First Term Chart Competition was not just an Event of decoration but it was a celebration of imagination, teamwork, and learning. It beautifully reflected the dedication of our Teachers and the enthusiasm of our Students, setting a positive and inspiring tone for the New Academic session at St. Jude’s School. The Results of the Competition were as follows: Pre-Nursery (Violet) stood First and Jasmine came Second. Nursery A stood First and Nursery B came Second. Class KG-E came First and KG-A stood Second. Class 1-E stood First and 1-B and 1-C came Second. Class 2-E stood First and 2-C came Second.
