Mindspree 2026 – Inter School Home Science Contest St. Jude’s School hosted the Inter School Home Science Contest on Tuesday, the 28th of July, 2026 as an exciting platform that inspires young Chefs to showcase their culinary skills, creativity and teamwork. Designed to encourage innovation and healthy cooking habits, the Competition challenged Students to prepare nutritious, visually appealing, and flavourful dishes within a stipulated time while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. This year's theme encouraged Students to explore imaginative culinary concepts such as Futuristic Cuisine, Fusion Cuisine and Storytelling Cuisine. Futuristic cuisine offered a glimpse into the future of food by combining science, technology, and sustainability through plant-based proteins, smart cooking techniques, and eco-friendly ingredients. Fusion cuisine celebrated cultural diversity by creatively blending flavours, ingredients, and cooking styles from different traditions to produce unique and exciting dishes. Storytelling cuisine transformed food into a powerful medium of expression, with every ingredient and presentation reflecting cherished memories, cultural heritage, or meaningful personal experiences. The Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, remarkable creativity, and an impressive display of culinary talent. Students demonstrated originality, innovation, and a deep understanding of nutrition, aesthetics and flavour while presenting dishes that delighted both the judges and the audience. The Aryan School were declared the Winners, St. Jude’s School were the First Runners-Up but being the host School they graciously relinquished the Trophy to Ann Mary School. More than just a contest, the Inter School Home Science Contest fostered healthy eating habits, encouraged experimentation and promoted sportsmanship. It served as an inspiring learning experience, nurturing young minds to think creatively, appreciate diverse culinary traditions and discover the limitless possibilities of the culinary arts.
