Wynberg Allen Interschool Chess Tournament 2025-26 Wynberg Allen Interschool Chess Tournament was held on 13th September, bringing together the best young minds from around 10 to 12 reputed Schools in the region. The Competition was organized across four categories – U-13, U-15, U-17, and U-19 - for both boys and girls, making it a grand stage for budding Chess talents to showcase their strategic skills. St. Jude's School was among the enthusiastic Participants, fielding teams in all categories. The Students displayed commendable performances against tough opponents, reflecting both their preparation and passion for the game. A highlight for St. Jude's came in the U-19 Girls' category, where Aditi Sehgal emerged as the Runners-Up, securing victory in 4 out of 5 rounds with her sharp play and confident strategies. Similarly, in the U-17 Boys' category, Shreyash Negi also finished as Runners-Up, winning 4 out of 5 rounds, impressing everyone with his tactical brilliance and calm composure under pressure. Adding to the School's glory, Nandika Garg from the U-17 Girls' category was awarded the title of the "Most Promising Player", a recognition of her potential and fighting spirit displayed throughout the Tournament. The Tournament was a true Celebration of talent, concentration, and sportsmanship.
