St. Jude’s School Students Attend The Doon School’s 90th Founder’s Day Celebrations The Doon School, Dehradun, celebrated its 90th Founder’s Day with great pride and enthusiasm, marking nine decades of excellence in education, leadership, and holistic development. A group of Students from St. Jude’s School had the privilege of attending the three-day celebration, accompanied by their teachers—Mrs. Tuli and Mr. R. Singh for the Exhibitions, Mr. G. Davids and Mr. Amitosh for the Founder’s Play, and Mrs. Rana and Mrs. Uniyal for the Music Concert. The Celebrations began with exhibitions titled Doon@90 – Excelling with Legacy, Leading with Purpose on October 15th, where Students had the opportunity to witness displays from various Academic departments as well as the School’s co-curricular programs, including adventure and community service. The exhibits beautifully reflected The Doon School’s commitment to innovation, creativity, and social responsibility. In the evening, the visitors attended the Founder’s Play, Looking Back, written and performed by the Students of The Doon School. The play captured the themes of childhood, relationships, inspiration, and legacy, weaving together nostalgic moments that celebrated the School’s glorious journey through the years. The performance left the audience deeply moved by its warmth and sincerity. The following evening, on October 16th, the St. Jude’s delegation attended the music concert titled Navrang at The Rose Bowl. The concert celebrated the spirit of unity and devotion through a mesmerizing blend of classical and contemporary compositions. The audience was enthralled by renditions such as Jurassic Park Theme, Mountain Love Song, Tagore’s Amaro Porano Jaha Chay, and Ajay-Atul’s Shah Ka Rutba. The performances showcased the remarkable musical talent and discipline of the Doon community. The visit proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for the Students of St. Jude’s School, giving them valuable exposure to creativity, teamwork, and excellence.
