St. Jude’s School Clinches Pratispardha 2026-Junior Girls Badminton Championship
St. Jude’s School’s Junior Girls Badminton Team delivered an exceptional performance to emerge as champions in the Inter-School Badminton Tournament, remaining unbeaten throughout the Competition. Winning all four matches with confidence and consistency, the Team’s success was driven by the outstanding efforts of Supriya Bajpai, Dakshita Chhetri, Daksha Dhyani, and Gaurangi Purohit. Team St. Jude’s began on a strong note with a convincing win against Doon International School (Riverside Campus), setting the tone for the Matches ahead. This momentum continued in the Quarter-Final against Gyananda School, where our Team once again displayed excellent coordination and control to secure another comfortable victory. Dakshita Chhetri’s solid gameplay and Gaurangi Purohit’s sharp court awareness proved crucial in maintaining the team’s dominance. The Semi-Final against Unison World School tested the Team’s resilience. Facing a determined opponent, St. Jude’s Team showed great composure under pressure. Led by Supriya Bajpai’s calm and confident presence, our Team fought back strongly, with Gaurangi Purohit playing a key role in turning the Match in their favour. In the Final Match against Summer Valley School, St. Jude’s School delivered their finest performance. Daksha Dhyani’s agility and attacking play, combined with Dakshita Chhetri’s steady defence and Gaurangi Purohit’s control of rallies, ensured a well-deserved victory. Supriya Bajpai led from the front, guiding our Team to a memorable win. Winning all their Matches and displaying remarkable teamwork, discipline, and determination, St. Jude’s School proved themselves worthy champions, bringing great pride to the School. We sincerely thank our Principal, Ms. M. Gardner for providing us with this valuable opportunity to participate and showcase our abilities.
