English Elocution Competition for Classes 6 to 8
English Elocution at St. Jude’s School The English Elocution Competition for Classes 6 to 8 was held at St. Jude’s School with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Event provided a wonderful platform for Students to showcase their talent, confidence, and command over the English Language. The Participants spoke on a variety of topics such as nature, patriotism, the power of words, honesty, technology, and the importance of education. Their speeches were filled with inspiring thoughts and fluent expressions, reflecting their hard work and preparation. The competition was Judged by respected Teachers, who appreciated the clarity, expression, and confidence of the young speakers. The audience listened with rapt attention and applauded every Participant for their efforts. Our Principal Ms. Michelle Gardner in her address, encouraged the Students to keep improving their communication skills, as effective speaking is a key to success in every field of life. The winners were awarded Certificates. The Event truly Celebrated the talent and courage of every Participant. The Results were as follows - In the Individual Category among Class 6 - Samridhi Sehgal of Class 6D grabbed the First position and Saanvi Gupta of Class 6A stood Second. Among Class 7- Aaradhya Juyal of Class 7C stood First and Gaurangi Purohit of Class 7B stood Second. Among Class 8- Aradhya Dhaulakhandi of Class 8B stood First and Vaishnavi Tiwari of class 8D stood Second. In Group category among Class 6- Class 6D grabbed the First position and there was a tie between 6A and 6B for the Second position. Class 7- Class 7A stood First and Class 7B stood Second Class 8- Class 8A and 8C both stood First and 8E stood Third. The English Elocution Competition was a grand success, leaving the Students motivated to express themselves more confidently and to continue polishing their speaking skills. Mrs. A. Kumar
