Celebrating Creativity and Learning Inter-Class Chart Competition for Classes KG–2

St. Jude’s School conducted an Inter-Class Chart Competition for Classes KG–2 on the 30th of April 2026, bringing together Students and Teachers in a vibrant celebration of art, learning, and teamwork. The initiative aimed to transform Classrooms into lively, informative, and visually appealing spaces that inspire young minds. Each Class participated with great enthusiasm, presenting beautifully designed charts that reflected both creativity and knowledge. The charts were thoughtfully connected to various Subjects, reinforcing their importance as effective Teaching Aids. These displays not only enhanced Classroom aesthetics but also surrounded Students with interesting and meaningful information, making learning more interactive and enjoyable. A special highlight of the Competition was the creation of dedicated Reading Corners in Classrooms. These inviting spaces were designed to cultivate good reading habits among Students, encouraging them to explore books and develop a love for reading beyond textbooks. Another meaningful addition was the Affirmation Chart, which took a special place in every Classroom. These Charts introduced Students to positive affirmations, helping them build confidence, develop a positive mindset, and believe in their abilities. By reading and reflecting on these affirmations daily, Students were encouraged to grow into more confident and self-assured individuals. The Birthday Chart continued to be an integral part of each Classroom . By marking and celebrating every Child’s birthday, it makes them feel special and valued. Students’ work was also beautifully displayed, and they proudly showcased their Friday Activities, adding a personal and lively touch to the Classroom environment. The display of House Charts added a sense of pride and belonging among Students while the Time Table Charts brought structure and meaning to their daily Classroom routine. Teachers played a vital role in enhancing the overall presentation. The Classroom doors were creatively decorated to warmly welcome Students, setting a cheerful and inviting tone right from the entrance. Their efforts, combined with the Students’ creativity, resulted in Classrooms that were both educational and aesthetically delightful. The Competition was judged on the basis of creativity, presentation and the effective display of Students ’ work. The Judges appreciated the thoughtful planning, originality and the harmonious blend of learning that reflected in each Classroom. Beyond the visual appeal, the Competition encouraged Students to take ownership of their surroundings and express themselves freely, turning Classrooms into spaces that truly reflect their ideas and enthusiasm for learning. The Winners of the Competition were: Class KG D stood First and KG E came Second. Class 1 C came First and Class 1 A stood Second. Class 2 A came First and Class 2 D stood Second.
