St. Jude’s School, Dehradun organised an Inter-House English Play Competition for the Students of Classes 6 to 8 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Event was held in the School auditorium and witnessed active participation from all the 4 Houses, Gardner, Howard, Lyons and Khanna. The main aim of the Competition was to encourage creativity, improve communication skills and build confidence among Students. Each house presented a short English play based on meaningful themes such as honesty, friendship, courage and social values. The Students displayed excellent acting skills, clear dialogue delivery and expressive body language. Colourful costumes, effective props and lively background music added charm to the performances. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the plays and applauded the efforts of all Participants. The Judges appreciated the confidence, teamwork and stage presence shown by the Students. After careful evaluation, our esteemed Judges - Mrs. V. R. Gardner, Director, St. Jude’s School, Ms. R. Verma, Mrs. S. Arora, and Mr. K. Sundriyal announced the Results as follows: Howard House secured the 1st position, while Gardner House and Khanna House jointly secured the 2nd position. We are thankful for the patience, expertise and thoughtful feedback shared by our respected Judges. However, all participants were appreciated for their hard work and dedication. The Inter-House English Play Competition was a grand success. It provided Students with a wonderful platform to showcase their talent and learn the importance of Teamwork and self-expression.
