Dancing to the Rhythm of Tradition: Inter House Dance Competition 2025 The stage at St. Jude’s School came alive with colour, rhythm, and expression as the Annual Inter House Dance Competition 2025 unfolded with grandeur. Divided into two categories – Junior (Folk Dance) and Senior (Classical Dance). The Event Celebrated India’s cultural vibrancy and artistic heritage, leaving the audience enthralled. The Junior Folk Dance Competition opened with spirited performances that transported the audience across India’s diverse traditions. Gardner House set the tone with the captivating Kalbelia from Rajasthan, followed by Howard House’s devotional Lallati Bhandar from Maharashtra. Khanna House energized the stage with their joyful Ramti Aave – a Dandiya folk dance – while Lyons House concluded the segment with a lively Rajasthani presentation, Runjhun Baje Re. After much anticipation, the Results were declared: Khanna House secured the 1st position. Lyons and Gardner shared the 2nd, while Howard House stood 4th. The Senior Classical Dance Competition carried the audience into the divine realms of grace and devotion. Gardner House began with a traditional classical performance, followed by Howard House’s soulful medley. Khanna House then presented a creative blend infused with the melodies of Mitwa and Mann Mohini, while Lyons House closed the contest with a powerful fusion of Taal Se Taal Mila and Breathless. The results saw Khanna House once again claim the 1st position, followed by Lyons House (2nd), Gardner House (3rd), and Howard House (4th). The Competition was more than just a display of talent – it was a journey into India’s cultural essence, where folk and classical merged seamlessly with youthful creativity.
