Celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti – Creative Activities for Students St. Jude’s School
St. Jude’s School proudly celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti on Tuesday, the 14th of April 2026 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Principal Architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of Equality and Social Justice. The Celebration was organised for the Middle School Students with the aim of Creating awareness about Dr. Ambedkar’s life, values, and his immense contributions to the Nation. The Programme included a variety of creative and Educational Activities such as Essay Writing, Short Poem Composition, and Art Creation, which encouraged active Student participation. Students expressed their thoughts and admiration through Poetry writing, beautifully highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s struggles, achievements and his vision for an equal society. Their Poems reflected deep respect and a clear understanding of his ideals. In addition, a Drawing Activity was conducted in which the Students illustrated significant moments from Dr. Ambedkar’s life. The Artwork showcased their creativity and depicted scenes such as his role in drafting the Constitution and his efforts towards social reform. To ensure participation from all the Students, they were encouraged to complete their articles and drawings from home and submit them Online through the School’s digital platforms, such as WhatsApp groups. Students clicked pictures of their work and shared them, making the Celebration inclusive and accessible for everyone. The Celebration not only enhanced the Students’ knowledge but also inspired them to uphold the values of Equality, Justice, and Education for all in their own lives. The enthusiasm and participation of the students made the event meaningful and memorable. Overall, the Ambedkar Jayanti celebration at St. Jude’s School was a great success, leaving a lasting impact on young minds and reinforcing the importance of Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings in today’s World.
