SCREENING OF FILM “MISTY” AT LOK BHAVAN
On the Saturday, the 25th of April,2026, the Students of St. Jude’s School attended the special screening of the Short Film Misty at Lok Bhavan, Dehradun. The Event was graced by Hon’ble Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) as the Chief Guest and other distinguished Guests. The Event brought together Artists, Filmmakers and Students, creating an inspiring atmosphere that celebrated creativity and storytelling. The 25-minute film beautifully showcases the scenic beauty and cultural richness of Uttarakhand. Directed by Raja Chatterjee, the film explores deep human emotions and highlights how ego and hesitation can affect relationships. The Story moves between past and present, encouraging viewers to reflect on the importance of living in the moment and expressing feelings openly. The performances by Satish Sharma, Avantika Shetty, Radhika Joshi, and Nitish Rawat were highly appreciated for their emotional depth. The symbolic use of Mist in the film represents confusion and unspoken emotions that often cloud our judgment. MISTY conveys an important message about emotions and relationships. Students found it inspiring and engaging. The Governor praised the film for its meaningful message and said that such creative efforts can promote tourism and cultural awareness in Uttarakhand. The film was highly appreciated by the audience. It was a valuable and memorable experience for our Students.
