In memory of Dr. Radhakrishna, St. Jude's School, Celebrated Teachers' Day with great panache and pomp. Organised by the Head-boy, Prakshal Jain and the Head-girl Aditi Sehgal as well as the prefects of the Senior School the whole Celebration was impressive and mesmerising. Right from the opening Event, wherein the Teaching staff was welcomed by the comperes, the programme began with a song and dance number by the Students of the Senior School. What followed next was both emotional and heart-warming as Pranjali Uniyal and Arjit Solanki weaved a web of enchanting poetry which was really appreciated by one and all. The thunderous applause was evidence enough that their poetic prowess was well received. After that excellent display of oratory skills, the students dazzled everyone with their repertoire of scintillating dance steps. The audience was then entertained with a number of retro songs by the budding musicians and singers of the school. This was followed by a Skit in Hindi which was well received by everyone. In a surprise twist of Events, our Teachers were awarded tokens of appreciation and gratitude for their contribution to the wellbeing of the Students both in Academics and overall development Some of the Senior Teachers also wowed the audience with their melodious rendition of popular songs. The wonderful and memorable programme ended with an inspiring speech by the Head-girl followed by a concluding speech by our Principal Ms. Michelle Gardner.
