Beyond the Bell: Farewell to the Class of 2025–26 Some moments stay with us long after they pass—not because of their grandeur, but because of what they signify. The Farewell Ceremony for the ISC 2026 was one such meaningful occasion. The evening reflected the School’s belief in nurturing Students who are firmly grounded in values, discipline, and integrity, while being fully prepared to step confidently into the wider world. The venue was thoughtfully decorated to echo this spirit. Elegant yet understated, the décor symbolised the journey of the Students—from strong foundations built within the School to new horizons awaiting them beyond its gates. Soft lighting, graceful arrangements, and a warm ambience set the tone for an evening filled with reflection, pride, and celebration. The Students themselves added to the charm of the occasion. The girls, resplendent in sarees, embodied grace rooted in tradition, while the boys, smartly dressed in formal suits, reflected confidence and maturity. Together, they represented a generation shaped not only by academic learning but also by shared experiences, friendships, and values instilled over the years. A key highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of titles and sashes, beginning with the most prestigious honour of the evening—the Pride of St. Jude’s Boy and Girl 2025–26. These distinguished title were proudly conferred upon Prakshal Jain and Aditi Sehgal, recognising their outstanding achievements, exemplary conduct, and significant contributions to the School. This was followed by the royal honours. Karunay Kandwal was crowned Prince 2025–26, with Kartik Upadhyay as the First Runners Up and Shreyas Ahluwalia as the Second Runners Up. The title of Princess 2025–26 was won by Aliya Khan, followed by Akshita Yadav as the First Runners Up and Manvi Walia as the Second Runners Up. The ceremony then continued with the presentation of other titles celebrating diverse talents and qualities. Ms. Versatile was awarded to Aadya Mishra, while St. Jude’s Idol was earned by Shreyas Ahluwalia for his all-round excellence. Ms. Athletic was conferred upon Bhoomi Chaudhary, and Artist of St. Jude’s was awarded to Sejal Pundir for her creative brilliance. Mr. Brilliant was awarded to Prakshal Jain, while Ms. Creative was claimed by Aditi Sehgal. Kshitiz Agarwal was recognised as the Maths Wizard, and Ishita Gusain impressed everyone as the Master Chef. The title of Mr. Techno Expert was awarded to Avnindra Chaudhary, while Anushka Chaudhary earned the crown of Dancing Queen. Mr. Diligent was bestowed upon Kartik Upadhyay in recognition of his consistent dedication and perseverance. As the evening progressed, the ceremony was seamlessly guided by Ms. Michelle Gardner, the Principal of the School, who served as a gracious and composed host. Her warm presence, thoughtful words, and dignified conduct lent the programme a sense of unity and purpose, ensuring that each moment unfolded smoothly while keeping the spirit of the occasion heartfelt and meaningful. The afternoon was graced by the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Lawless and other Guests. Without their presence the occasion would have felt incomplete. As the evening drew to a close, the presence of the School leadership, teachers, and staff served as a reminder of the constant guidance and support that has shaped this batch. In her address, the Principal reminded the Students that while their School life may come to an end, their bond with their alma mater remains lifelong. The lessons learnt, friendships formed, and values imbibed will continue to guide them wherever life may lead. As the Class of 2025–26 steps beyond the familiar School corridors, they carry with them more than achievements and accolades—they carry memories, resilience, and the courage to dream. The School bids them farewell with pride and faith, confident that they are ready to face the world ahead.
