The Le Mot Juste Literary Festival 2026 was organised by Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie on Saturday, the 25th of April 2026. The Fest was a vibrant celebration of Language, Creativity and Intellect, bringing together reputed Schools from across the Country, including St. Jude’s, St. Joseph’s Academy, RIMC, La Martiniere, Lucknow, Bishop Cotton, Shimla, Doon International, St. George’s College, Oak Grove, Welham Girls’, Brain EduWorld, Meerut and Adroit School. The Festival provided a dynamic platform for Students to showcase their Literary and Oratory skills across a wide range of Competitions. The Festival commenced with the Cynthia Burrell Inter-School English Poem Recitation, where Participants captivated the audience with their powerful performances. The S.N. Sharma Hindi Storytelling Competition emerged as a major highlight, reflecting confidence, expression and Storytelling finesse. The Rev. Biggis Spell Bee Competition tested Participants’ linguistic precision and Spelling excellence. The Bowdish Literary Quiz showcased the literary knowledge and quick thinking of the Participants. Debate Competitions, including the Dr. G.D. Lehmann English Debate, T.W. Phillips English Debate, and H.G. Meakin Hindi Debate, emphasized critical thinking, clarity of thought and articulate expression. Notably, the T.W. Phillips English Debate stood out as one of the most exciting Events, where Participants displayed strong Oratory Skills along with diverse perspectives on thought-provoking Topics. The Movie Review Event featured insightful analysis of Cinematic elements such as Plot, character development and Presentation. Outstanding Achievements & Winners Ishveen Kaur (Class 8C) – 1st Position, Hindi Storytelling Agrim Chandra (Class 10 Com B) – 1st Position, Spell Bee (Sub-Senior Category) Rajvardhan Singh (Class 6D) – 1st Position, Spell Bee (Sub-Junior Category) The Festival proved to be a rich learning experience that nurtured creativity, confidence and intellectual exchange. It not only celebrated literary excellence but also provided Students with an invaluable opportunity to grow and shine on an Inter-School platform.
