Rendezvous Inter House Crossword Puzzle Competition
St. Jude’s School, organized a Crossword Puzzle Competition for the first time as part of its much-awaited Event, Rendezvous, on Thursday, the 7th of May 2026. The Event was yet another innovative initiative of our visionary Principal, Ms. M. Gardner. The Activity aimed to enhance Students’ vocabulary, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in an engaging and enjoyable manner. The Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from Four Teams representing the Four Houses, with each Team comprising Four Members. At the beginning of the Event, Students were briefed about the rules and regulations of solving a Crossword Puzzle. Each Team was provided with a Puzzle sheet and given a time limit of 25 minutes to complete the task. The Crossword included questions based on vocabulary, antonyms, synonyms and new words, making it both challenging and enriching. Mrs. A. Gupta and Mrs. Geetanjali Arya were the organizers of the Event. After a brief introduction and presentation, the Participants began solving the Puzzle with great interest and enthusiasm. The Students demonstrated excellent Teamwork, presence of mind and linguistic skills throughout the Competition. All Teams managed to complete the Puzzle within the allotted time. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and the Students thoroughly enjoyed the Activity. Khanna House emerged as the Winning Team. Overall, the event proved to be both educational and enjoyable, encouraging Students to develop a love for words and language while promoting healthy competition and collaborative learning.
